Which nonprofits can I support?
We have almost 1,000 nonprofits in our database across broad categories including animal welfare, arts & culture, community services, disabilities, disease research, environmental, humanitarian and more. If there is one you want to support, contact us at suppport@giv.co to request one that isn't yet on our platform.
Who makes the donation?
The business or person who wants the meeting makes a payment.
Who choses the nonprofit?
The sales lead, expert, or investor who is in-demand chooses the nonprofit to receive donation.
Who gets the tax deduction?
The business making payments gets credit for the deduction. Salespeople who facilitate meetings and leads who choose nonprofits are not eligible for the deductions.
How should Giv donations and meeting fees be classified in my financials?
Consult your tax and finance professionals. Giv donations are eligible as an ad expense. Salespeople who facilitate meetings and leads who choose nonprofits are not eligible for the deductions.
Will I receive a receipt for my donation?
Yes, you will receive confirmation over email after the payment is processed that serves as your receipt.
What happens to my donation payment?
Your donation will be sent to each 501(c)(3) within 90 days less standard credit card, ACH or other processing fees.
